A note from the founders

Every dream has a rhythm of its own.

For me, that rhythm has always been connected to dance.

As a classical dancer, the ghungroo have always held a special place in my heart. Their sound carries the memories of practice, the discipline behind every movement, and the quiet joy of expressing something beyond words.

Over time, they became much more than a part of my dance practice. They became a symbol of my connection to tradition, art, and expression.

When I dreamt of creating my own jewellery brand, I wanted to carry a little piece of that feeling with me.

The name Kinkini was inspired by this connection – by the delicate bells, their beautiful rhythm, and the stories they hold. It felt like the perfect name for something I wanted to create with the same love and intention.

House of Kinkini is a reflection of the things I hold close: my love for jewellery, my admiration for Indian art and craftsmanship, and my belief that the smallest details can hold the deepest meaning.

Every design begins with an idea, often captured in a sketch, shaped by inspiration, and brought to life through the hands of skilled artisans. Some designs take inspiration from traditions we have grown up seeing; others explore new ways to wear and celebrate them.

Our hope is to create jewellery that feels like you – pieces that honour our roots while leaving room for your own individuality.

Thank you for being here, for discovering our little world, and for being a part of this journey.

With love,

Pihu Tiwari & Arjun S. Nair
